Well....damn. Mike and Sue have been friends for years. What a great couple..Mike was a gentleman and a wealth of bow knowledge. Saw him last at Trout Run.... Hes gone to a better place. The big Archery tournament in the sku..! Prayer to Sue and his family. You will be missed buddy.....God bless....John

Our BBTC tradition. JCar, Mike, Sue, and I would meet at 6:30 AM every morning and shoot a round of 3-D, keeping score with $5 apiece on the line. We'd return to the Shaw's tent where Sue would cook us breakfast sandwiches and we'd pay up. Mike would call me a dirty rotten stinkin' gapper which I loved. He was unparalleled in ribbing. A true friend gone.

I just came on this morning and now found this out. First thought was crushed but knew the inevitable was near so praise God no more suffering and now Sue can morn and begin to heal eventually by Gods grace.

Our brother is in a better place where no more tears or suffering exist. He will be made new.

Thank you Lord for having mercy and extending your grace to Sue and Mikes family.

Mike Shaw will always live on in the minds and thoughts of us all, he left his mark to all that ever meet or knew him.

So sorry Sue will be praying for you and the family and morn with you.

To Sue and the family I’m sorry for you loss.

The Traditional world of archery indeed lost a great one today. There’s just no words to say how great a man Mike Shaw was. I’m very thankful to say Mike and Sue were a huge part in get’n me into Traditional archery and thankful to say they are great friends. I enjoyed all the time’s i spent up at their shop and all the shoots we went to. I will never forget all the great time i spent with Mike. I wish i’d got’n to know Mike many year’s sooner but i’m glad i was able to know him since 2013.

Mike buddy, i’m going to miss you. The pain and suffering is over and now your up with God in the happy hunting grounds and shooting them Mike Shaw 12 rings. I’ll always remember your saying to me...”hey Gary, pull your head out of your ass and shoot”. Until we meet again Mike, happy hunting buddy.
