As long as I'm shooting the course it's strung.
Soon as I'm done shooting, I un string it.
Only takes a few seconds.

The shoots I went to in Texas guys would keep em strung the whole time. When I hunt with mine it might be strung for half a day to a full day a few times. Only issue has been when it was late season and below freezing. Just went to draw back on a stump and my favorite bow blew into a hundred pieces.

When I build a selfbow one of the things that I do is get it nearly finished and leave it strung overnight. If it won't stand up to that, in my opinion it ain't much of a bow. Picked that up from Paul Comstock.

Depends on the bow. Is it a durable, tested bow of adequate wood quality, design and proportions for how it's being used? Or is it a minimally built, highly stressed design on the verge breaking at full draw. Selfbows can be many things.
I've had mine strung for several hours a day many, many times. 75 degrees ain't nuthin to worry about. I build them to withstand that.... it's part of what makes a bow 'hunt worthy'.

One example I can give is for a lemonwood (degame) selfbow that I still shoot, and have had myself since 1990. I don't know what it went through before I got it, but it has travelled the US and part of Canada for over six years and I have shot it quite a bit. When I went hunting for the day, it was strung the whole time I was in the woods. I've had it strung for at least six hours at a time...at times. That bow is approaching 80 years old and still works. Your mileage may vary, but that should tell you something.

I leave mine strung all day for tournaments, I have found recently strung selfbows shoot a little harder for the first 6 shots or so then settle out so I leave mine strung. This is in weather from 60 degrees to 100 degrees.
When hunting I string my bow at the house, take a few shots to loosen it an the shooter up and leave it strung until I go back to my truck after a hunt.

By accident I left my hickory selfbow strung an entire weekend once. When I discovered it strung, I expected the worst. After I unstrung it, it settled back in about a half hour to what it had been. Normally I unstring it after I’m done shooting it.

I don't know, you always saw Howard Hill stringing his bow before the hunt, probably for the camera.
You get undressed when you retire for the day, don't you? So un-string your bow at the end of the day, simple!!!
