Red oak 66” 47@27. His first attempt. I found the board for him, loaned him volume 1&2 tbb, and offered a little advice when asked. He did the rest. 3/4 inch set right after unstringing. He’s planning on killing a pronghorn with it this fall.

Congratulations! I am just wondering how thick the narrow handle area is. Jawge

I think it was a 1 by 4 Jawge. Depth appears like he left most of the inch. It’s definitely narrow though.

Your buddy did a great job. It's very satisfying to watch an arrow fly from a bow you crafted yourself. Hope he gets his pronghorn with it.
