Could be an Alien bow left on earth after a visit in the 1930s.

I hope you sent a note telling him the limbs are mounted backwards. Not everyone is an archer so they need a little guidance from time to time. Or you can make fun of the on a very large forum.

And yes, I sent them a note explaining the way the limbs should go. After they receive one bid, however, they can't change the title photo. You will notice thought he has over $227.00 in bids already, so I suspect he will have the last laugh.

Maybe the "PREDATOR" creature used that bow?

The seller is a lady who is not an archer. She got it at an estate sale put together like that...probably the auctioneer or a family member that didn't know either. I gave her a little history on the bow and wished her good luck.

The auction ended very early this morning and someone outbid me by $5 because I wasn’t up. Never had one of his recurves but had several of these with longbow limbs, which he is more known for. They were great shooters.

There was lots of things wrong with how that bow, sight and stabilizer were assembled, but like the seller said, they were selling it for the estate of the original owner.

These bows rarely come for sale. Even rarer yet are Emil’s one piece wood/glass laminated bows that this metal handled takedown was patterned after.
