Absolutely enough if you can kill a deer with a sharp pencil in lungs.
Might be hard convincing the game dept. lads though.
That's a swift little stick. very nice.

I was gonna say 800gr arrow, but Eric topped me before I even posted! But I bet if you were close enough and shot a hard quartering away shot behind the last rib that it might do the job better than you think! Then there's always the poison arrow trick, natives in South America use blow guns and darts to kill their food all the time!

No animal would have safe if i would had one of those instead of that lilac branch for a bow. I don't know about 16@21", but i have seen a couple of fawns taken with very light bows. Although, there is quite a lot of difference between a 16 pound at 21" and a 30 pound bow at 24".

It’s possible that it could be 37#@28” with a smooth draw-force curve assuming about 3# per additional inch of draw. If it stacks bad it could be even more. So what started out as a joke by the original poster, may indeed be a lethal deer killing tool! Think about it...

That little bow could kill a deer for sure. Just put feathers on one limb and shoot the whole thing at it from another #50 bow.
Beautiful bow! Nice workmanship Mike!
