Jim Neaves at Centaur Archery just completed my "Super Curve" which draws 45 pounds at 26 inches. Multi-directional carbon makes the narrow recurve limbs almost impossible to twist. Looks like a Turkish war-bow unbraced:)

Went with stippled grip, thumb-rest and bighorn sheep on the tip overlays.

Beautiful bow that my wife and I can both shoot. It loads up on the front end of the draw cycle and almost gives a cantilever effect with perceived let-off on the back end.

Now that’s pretty interesting. Had no idea Jim was building them......

That looks pretty sharp. Very nice

He has built 58 inchers so far I believe.I think he offers a 60 incher.I have not seen one in that length yet though.

Hes been building them for a short time.So not many are out thier yet.

Its nice to see a super curve with a longbow style riser..

Hows it shoot for you?

It seems to be leaning outside of a State Farm Office. Don’t tell me they’re so expensive you have to insure them?????

It shoots really hard......heavy pull on the front end of draw cycle and then it almost feels like let off on the back end. Totally different from the longbow draw cycle.

That's the nicest super curve I've seen. The profile on the Centaur flows beautifully. Good luck with it.

I don't see the curves on his web site???? >>>>-----> Ken

Awesome, that would be one I would want to try :-) JF

I looked at his site as well. No recurve yet. I was wondering how much and how long a wait. Ya, just when I almost had my mind made up on a new bow I see this neat looking bow being offered. I like the LB grip as well.

Last I talked to Jim he was at 14 months. If you had an order in he was allowing you to change the order to this new bow if you wanted.

Mostly on Jim’s Face Book page not much information yet, he started early this year after the one he built for him self, He found it to be great.

You guys are going to have to get up on some technology. Unfortunately social media outlets are better advertisement and can be done by the person instead of hiring a web designer. Here is a link to the Centaur Facebook page.

With those super curves, is she quiet? looks like a lot of possible limb slap. centaurs are phenominal bows, I am sure it shoots great!

You wouldn't believe how hard this little bow shoots.....aggressive limbs and the carbon I guess. It seems to drive the heavier arrows even better. His longbows are no slouches and these hit harder.

You should look into a YouTube account, and post a link to your review.

I'm very interested in the profile and report. ~ S.T.C.

Congrats too Mr. Jim Neeves for venturing forward with such a performance enhancing design and thanks goes to ROUGHCOUNTRY for sharing and posting up about it! :)

And just for everyones 411?...there's not a dang thing wrong with the durability levels of well built big hook limbs as long as a suitable GPP arrow weight is used.

Big Hook/Super recurve Limbs: store so much energy per pound that shooting arrow weights of 8gpp (and under) are like repeatedly simulating a "Partial Dry-Fire" with each and every arrow loosed which in turn leaves a lot of energy behind in the bow that results in shock while that unused energy disapates itself as noise and vibration but nock up a heavier 10-12gpp arrow?...and the energy within those big hooks will shoot that 10-12gpp arrow as though it were a 7-9gpp arrow.

I recieved my Borders Hex7.5 limbed Covert Hunter in Feb of 2017 two years and four months ago and it's still going strong with 10's of thousands of arrows loosed and since?...

My close friend Steve Jewett of Bushmen Bows has developed his "Spartan" line of big hook bows and?...

Morrision Archery has been pacing right along with their MAX series of big hook limbs as has Zipper, Timberghost and of course Uuhka with their X-curves and I gotta say it's real nice to see a great bow company like Centaur has developed a high performance, big hook bow pof their own that also undoubtedly hits hard with heavy arrows! :)

We just shot the Montana Bowhunters Carp Safari this weekend and Jim Neaves of Centaur had his bow there to let folks shoot it. Like has been stated, it probably shoots heavier arrows better......

Mine is a 58 inch bow and the form accommodates a 60 inch bow as well. Jim told me this weekend he's developing a 54 inch model with a shorter riser and even more aggressive limbs:)

He said his engineered carbon weave panels will be able to handle the stress.

I am impressed. Always liked his LB’s. Can you tell us how much the bow weights? Thanks

Is a sweet looking bow
