Hey Guys I'm searching for a post from a while back about a Velcro sight plate that someone made and installed on a bow. I believe it was a sight pin sandwiched between two pieces of Velcro mounted to the front of a riser.

Sound familiar? Photos would be helpful. Thx!

Rick, are you using for elevation reference only? Capt Jack sent me photos of a similar setup using luminous tape on the back of the riser.

Hey Rick - thanks much! That was exactly what I was looking for. Hey Roadrunner- do you have a photo of Capt Jack's set up?

A buddy of mine has taken a long hiatus from shooting due to some health issues. He's an instinctive shooter that just doesn't have the time to put in to shooting any longer. He and I got together this past weekend at a shoot and he got the urge back. He's hope to get back to recrearional shooting ever so often. He knows I'm a slip vision shooter and he was considering having me work with him to help to get him into gap shooting. But as we started getting into it he shoots split finger and is shooting really short arrows 27.5 inches. His gap at 20 yards is roughly 36+ inches. Not very manageable or repeatable. He is also reluctant to start changing his anchor point and arrow length. So I thought a simple sighting devise might be a good way to get him back in the saddle.

Yes, it's for elevation only.

Someone (don't remember who) was looking for an easy yet effective way to have a sight for elevation, that could be easily attached & removed.

This is what I came up with, and it works pretty good.

Looks good. Jack used his luminous setup for night hunting hogs.

McGuyver strikes again. Rick can find a solution to anything.

I rigged one of those sights up on a Sky Archery Rogue D/R longbow after Rick posted those picks originally. I can tell you that is very effective.
