For those of you that have purchased the Black Hunter bows. Are you getting the bow with the 1/4?" or 5/16" limb bolt size with it. If you got the 1/4" limb bolt, have you tried to get an extra set of limbs for it? If so, where were you able to find the limbs with the 1/4" limb hole and from whom? I have just ordered the bow and it is on its way. When I purchased it I didn't realize there are 2 different limb bolt sizes that are being used so didn't know to ask the seller at the time of purchase. It seem most replacement limbs I am seeing are drilled for the 5/16 bolt. The bow coming is 50#@28", but I also want to get a set of 45# recurve limbs for it. I will know for sure what size the limb bolts are when it gets here next week, but also want to know where to look for the 1/4" hole limbs if that is what the hole size is when it arrives. All info appreciated. DANNY

I had 1 with the 1/4(m6x1) limb bolts. My extra limbs i ordered were m8x1.25. I went to lowes and bought brass bushings that fit the m8 bolt holes in the limbs and the hole in the bushing fit the m6 bolt. I used flat washers and m6 bolts. Maybe not the answer you wanted, but just telling what i did in case you run into that problem and want a $5 solution.

I don't know where you ordered them from but I got mine (all three sets of limbs) from Lancaster Archery and all came with the larger holes.

I just ordered a second bow as the price was so cheap, plus you get an additional string. Pretty hard to beat!

I was on the fence about buying ANOTHER bow and I have read SO MANY good reviews about it on here. The price I got it for, my finger couldn't stay away from the "Buy it Now" button. Even though I was fighting to hold it back with my other hand. I think I need to start shooting left handed to make it stronger to keep me from doing stuff like that. DANNY

Linecutter, you can use the 5/15' hole limbs with the 1/4' bolts if that is what you have just need to find a bushing that fits the bolt/hole in limb. If you go to YouTube there is a video put out by John from Twig Archery that explains a simple fix.

Also you might call John at Twig Archery because he might have some limbs in stock with the smaller bolt holes. These were the first ones, now all come with 5/16".

Seems like 1/4" bolt is pretty small for a limb bolt. Why would they do that?
And I'm not stirring the pot, I'm truly curious.
