Hi GUYS....I'se dumb and doans get out much? I get confused on the 003 / 006 deal??? Which is better for straightness? MERCY BOW-COUP & BLESSED BE!

A variance of 3/1000th of an inch straightness or 6/1000th. The former is guaranteed straighter overall but us mere mortals really can't tell the difference.

I bought a half dozen of them to try them out. I do like them but cannot tell much difference than my CX arrows. I also like the fact they come with a wrap installed. Looks nice.

Like 76aggie said, they are good shafts, but I don't see that they shoot any better, or worse than any comparably priced, properly matched shaft/arrow.

Buy half-dozen (Easton Trads) seasonally so I will always have 15 to 18 or more arrows/shafts at all times. Keep some worn ones around for killing paper plates. Don't pay much attention to the straightness factor. Always liked a skinny shaft and my Easton Trads match up to my old rosewood recurves really well. They're not cheap, but less than a third to half as much as expensive target shafts with a better straightness factor. They sorta hit that "good enough" factor, and I'm very pleased with how they shoot too.

For shooting my various old recurves, I keep different weight points in the tacklebox for making quick changes.

For a few old bows on the rack with lower draw weights, I use inexpensive Predator II's with half the sraightness of the Trads and they work just fine. Like that I can loose a few of them and not worry about not eating so I can buy more shafts.

Shafts come in favor and go out again, kinda like the old Autumn Orange aluminum that was popular for awhile...then came the camo hunters XX75 and no one wanted them. Now again, the nostalgia of the orange looks back at them as something special. I've only shot a few carbon arrows over the years, but the plain old Carbon Express that Walmart sells were as tough as any. They just weren't made to look like wood.
