Now keep the darn thing and don't sell it a year or two down the road. ;). No question about Norm's ability to make a beautiful weapon. Kinda like the old Weatherby rifles.

A beauty. No reason to drink cheap beer, and no reason not to shoot a beautiful weapon. It won't make you shoot better, but you will want to, and maybe try harder. I love mine, and I am sure you will quickly get as attached to yours. It had me as I opened the package and undid the ribbon. :)

Gorgeous! But then...I've never seen an unattractive Blacktail bow. As a side note- must be nice to be fortunate to afford a beauty like the bow you're showing us.

George, I went to the national NRA convention in Orlando Florida many years ago and this fella had a display at least thirty feet long full of Weatherby 300's all done in a different wood, there was an attendant standing there with a long table between you and the rifles, you were allowed even encouraged to hold one and look it over, but first you had to put on a pair of white gloves, then you pointed to the one you wanted to look at and the attendant dressed in a tux with white gloves on opened the case and retrieved the one you wanted to fondle. He stood right there while you wished he would pass out from the heat so you could run out the door with that Weatherby....Ha!Ha!
He did one person at a time.
Most people were too intimidated to touch such beautiful works of art, I was at first then I thought once in a lifetime. I looked at the two I would have given anything for and thanked him, he thanked me for taking up the offer.
I know this is not archery related, but you brought back that memory when you mentioned Weatherby.

I was waiting for someone to ask what kind of woods they were, but I can't stand it any longer. Are they Karelian birch and Bolivian Rosewood?
Great stuff.

That’s not Norms work , don’t get me wrong he can make a beautiful bow that one came from Alan and Julie and the men in Indiana. There is no other bowyer making bows as beautiful as a Blacktail, period. They have set the bar very very high. Talked to both of them at length at K-zoo wonderful people. And there vision for the business is awesome.
