Due to a temporary issue with my legs, I have to sit if I want to shoot. Did it Sat for an hour. Not fun, but better than not shooting. Noticeably sore all over my upper half. Shot my 53(?) Bear Cub. Empty quiver means my arrows are downrange. Beautiful Spring day at the range, regardless.

Way to keep at it Mike. You’re an inspiration to all of us that are suffering varying maladies. Lance

Thanks Lance, but I don’t know about inspiring, I was basically a pain in the butt to the guys I shoot with. They went into the woods to shoot, I stayed by the target butts bc of the muddy conditions. They came out of the woods, then they felt like they should get my arrows, and help me back to the parking lot. I held on to my brother‘s shoulder, while me and my cane helped a little. My friend Paul backed his Highlander to where I was figuring I could get myself inside and he’d 4 wheel it back to the parking lot. I couldn’t get in bc my left leg isn’t working right with the pinched nerve. Then he had a hard time getting his Highlander back to the parking lot, getting mud all over it. If it’s muddy this Sat, I’ll just shoot in our indoor range. I won’t do that twice to them. May 23rd I’m getting this leg thing straightened out.

Mike did pretty good considering what he is dealing with. He said he was sore from shooting. I told him to shoot a lighter bow. He said he was. His Cub is 60lbs. Maybe you guys can convince him 60lbs is not light. I have a nice 44lb Kodiak Special he could shoot. Chuck S

Our range is really nice, despite the mud.
