How many of you would be interested in a high end crester that will do anything the $150-200 will do for $50 or less. I have one on the drawing board, but haven't put together a complete parts list, if there is enough interest I will purse it further.

I’d be very interested, Bob. Mine is a home built out of an old Bohning motor that was part of their cheap Crestor kit years ago and could use an upgrade.

From: KyPhil

If it can spin a slightlt warped arrow straight then i would buy it.

From: Two-more-steps

I'd be interested in it, as well!

Bob I would love it. I have been holding off purchasing anew created as I have some issues with all that are currently on the market. Purchased a Phillips from you but have since sold it. Done hundreds of arrows on it but it lacked adequate things. Would also be willing to be a tester if you build a prototype. Let me know. Thanks Flint

Dang spellcheck. I meant to say new crester.

From: neuse

Yes

From: fiddlebow
Date: 09-May-19

Yes...Yes...Yes! Now that I have gotten my grandkids started shooting traditional bows and recently retired, I want to resume making my own arrows again. Since I still have my 30 year old simple, 2 pc (motor and felt rest) crester, I've been wanting to upgrade to a spin-rite, but hate to pull the trigger for $200. Now you're talking my language!

From: Stringmaker

Yep, always interested in better for less cost . . .

Absolutely! You'd be my Hero forever!

From: Jimbob

Oh yeah, I have a home built jobby that gives mixed results. I will buy one if you name it the Burton Special.

From: Dry Bones
Date: 09-May-19

With Caddo. At 50.00 I would HAVE to do it.

From: ottertails

I'd probably buy three at that price...give them to my sons and grandson. I have your Phillips I got from you at Kzoo long ago, works just fine. I did modify the the arrow stop tho. Also have a Bohning Pro from 30 years ago, it's used only for spinning arrows while I spray paint them,,,no cresting on that thing.

From: Muskyhunter

Yep...I'm interested

Guys:

There is nothing better in my opinion than the "Phillips Pro" and I think this one will do everything it will do. It will be similar to the Phillips and operate on the same principal. Only time will tell, I'm encouraged by the response so I will put one together and see if it can do everything I think it can.

I expect it is the initial cost of a cresting machine that keeps most of those guys who don't crest, from doing it. At $50.00 I think there will be a lot of new guys doing it.
