Just finished this bow up today. I meant to finish it at the Tennessee Classic but I got distracted. It's a reflexed bow made from a pristine stave of Pacific yew. It is 64" long and pulls 57#@28". It is backed with deer rawhide and western diamondback rattlesnake skins. The tip overlays are made from buffalo horn and the handle wrap is elk leather with kangaroo lace. the bow is finished with eight coats of tru oil polished to a satin glow. The string material is D97 fastflight.

Beautiful. That is perfection. Is the border around the snake skin painted? It sure sets it off. >>>>-----> Ken

Beauty...can that bow be shot both left and right handed?

From: TrapperKayak
Date: 09-May-19

Because I see it is a right handed bow...and you are shooting it lefty..off your hand instead of a shelf? Never tried that.

Weylin, What can I say, there isn't person alive that wouldn't want to own that one.

I am not a snake skin person, but I could get used to that one real quick.

What you have done is give me a reason to spend a little more time creating my own self bows, I have figured out what I can say, "I'm jealous"....Ha!Ha!

I love the added wrapping around the ends on the leather grip, that finishes the grip, you just don't see that.

Like 2bears said that painted border really sets it off.

Beautiful and well done.

Thank you all for the kind words!

Stix, it shoots great, smooth fast and steady.

Danzn Bar, yes, it's the bow I was finishing up at the classic. Too bad you weren't there very long, would have liked to have chatted more and seen your bows.

Trapper kayak, It's set up to shoot right handed. I'm drawing it left handed because my form looks bad right handed. I wasn't shooting it this way, just posing for the picture. I mostly shoot off my hand these days. My bows have the string splitting the handle down the middle and shoot just as well off either side. This one has a little rest and arrow pass for a right handed shooter though.
