You're looking at a very stiff arrow and not a very heavy bow. I'm with Shawn on .500 or .400. Although, you don't say what your draw length is.

For get about an arrow that's 29.5 inches. Start tuning full lenght. And I suggest forgetting the 50 grain adaptor. If you have to go lower in weight than you expect it's a pain to unglue them. Much easier to screw in a 300 grain tip or a 125 gr and see which way to go.

So just my observation, why not shoot some beautiful handcrafted wood arrows to compliment that beautiful bow?

kinda with you knife guy. I do have some very nice dougfir, cedar and 2216. all shot great out of my other blacktails. My draw is 28.5 so about 57-58lbs. seems t be a hassel figuring out these carbons.

I have 3 blacktails, 2 curves and a longbow! Shoot the same arrow out of all three! I too have a monkey draw of 29+"!I shoot 340 Bemans, 4 fletched 3" feathers! These arrows are a bit over 400 grains! I have been shooting this arrow for years and have taken a bunch of animals! I shoot a 140/150 grn broadhead! I too like woods, but I shoot carbons because they always straight and the same weight and no flaws! Shoot what you want, its your bow! Good Luck! Also, I am shooting about 58/60lbs!

Life is way to short to shoot ugly arrows especially with a Black tail if its a looker.

I shoot cedar out of my Blacktail and it’s not to fussy on spine (45-60) all fly good

Your best bet is a test kit every time.
