I'm wondering about the Old Mountain Mesa longbow 3Rivers offers. Good looker for sure but I would like any hands-on experiences you may have.

Go to Youtube, there is a review on it. The guy loved it.

I ordered one that was marked 40 pounds and was told it would be 45 pounds by 3Rivers (they knew it was off). Arrived, looked pretty good (except fast flight string was big enough for a tow rope), but was a measured 50 pound draw weight. I did not shoot it was I wanted to return it new. I did return it, and 3 Rivers had me pay for the return shipping. Be a little careful about your dealing with them and this bow.

Send you the wrong item and then make you pay postage. That's pretty bad!

that was some they had that were miss marked & knew it/

I got mine as ordered at 45# & is another really good bow, smooth with bamboo center limbs like the black hunter, the tips are identical so most likely made by junxing also.

doug, I thought the tips looked like the Black Hunter and wondered if it is made by the same company. The weight being off that much would be a no-go for me too.

the first shipment were the ones off & they were advertised as such, then they got them right, that's when I ordered mine at 45# & it's desd on & really smooth drawing,,,,love that bamboo.
