Does anyone watch the Craftsman's Legacy? Last night's episode featured Noel Grayson. a Cherokee Indian from Oklahoma making arrows. Was very interesting.

That was a great episode & he had decent looking Osage bows too. It was shown on our Florida & Georgia PBS channels. They usually run them more than once.

Yes, I watch it all the time. My favorite show. Here, it's on the Create channel. The show with Noel Grayson was from 2017, but I enjoyed it just as much this time too.
They've also had "The Primitive Bowmaker", "The Tool Chest Makers" (Gerstner wooden tool chests), "The Gun Maker"(Mike Brooks making Pa Longrifles/flintlocks), "The Metal Engraver", "The Blacksmith", are some of the ones I'm particularly interested in, but every one is good. Awesome show.
I've learned a LOT from the show, but the biggest thing is... I realized that when folks really invest themselves, a large portion of their life, and pour their heart into mastering their craft, I don't care WHAT it is, they earn my deepest respect. My favorite shows certainly weren't the ones I thought they'd be. So I make sure I watch every episode.
I just wish it was at least an hour long instead of 30 minutes. 30 minutes seems a bit rushed.

I missed that episode but have seen just about all of them. PBS is one of very few broadcasting stations worth watching imo.

I watch it whenever I can and really enjoy it them especially when they make stuff I'm interested in. I only wish it was a little longer.

Mr Grayson is a very great source of knowledge. I met him on my way to texas one year. Was lucky enough to get a one on one tour and then spend the rest of the day flint knapping with him and another knapper.

Ubetcha, I record that show and love the fact that he's a Wolverine. Builds scooters custom made in DETROIT, Oh yah. Now that I'm here in Oklahoma already looking to go to the Cherokee museum. I just started building bamboo/river cane arrows from shoots that I cut at job site I was on. John

There’s a couple of you tube videos featuring Noel Grayson as well if anyone is interested. They’re more talking about bows rather than watching him build them, but I still thought they were interesting.

I've seen a YouTube video he did, just kinda talking if I remember right. Haven't seen the PBS shows. Wonder if we get them. I don't watch a lot of TV but sounds like something I'd like.
