Has anybody shot both the Morrison Max 5 and new Max 6 limbs. If you have does the Max 6 have a significant increase in performance over the Max 5's, or is the difference not that noticeable. Joel

They have video on Morrison Website and analysis in thier review of the MAX 6s and the previous MAX 5s.They are faster. Not sure what significant is.But they milked more performance
What looked most interesting though was that they made them more durable in relieving stress points in the limbs.

I spoke with Brandon at the Trad Expo regarding the Max 6 vs Max 5 limbs. He told me that the Max 6 is a more durable limb with a very modest increase in speed. More about added limb stability than increased speed.

Thanks Ollie as I talked to Brandon on the phone and he told me the same thing. I have had a set of Max 5's for about a year and like them alot and have been thinking of Max,s 6's but if their isn't a lot of added performance I may pass on it. To me the Max 5's seem pretty durable. I've shot them alot in the past year with no problems. Joel

I've been looking at these for a while. Can you describe what you mean by "durable"? Do the Max 5's wear out or break? Seems like a recurve limb should be durable by default(?)

Zog I'm wondering the same thing as I've got a set of Max 5's and they are not cheap at $800. If they are not durable that would not be a good thing. Has anybody experienced problems with your Max 5's? Joel
