Ol Turkey calls. If only he knew he was on to something. Deep in the Ozarks, during the hard days. He definitely had a good idea :-) JF

Dang it Jeff! As if I didn't have enough projects going. Now my ADD is in overdrive.John

Looking good there Jeff

Those are great!

From: neuse

I am not familiar with that style, it doesn't have a tail handle. How does it work?

Looks good by the way.

From: scienceguy

Interesting. How do they "sound"?

From: bodymanbowyer
Date: 18-Apr-19

They require a sanded flat rib bone chalked up for the Stryker. Find the right angle and Bam it's a hen in the woods. They sound great. I have a couple videos of the sound. I can't load them on here. I can send a video by text though.

They do sound good, and look great, just like his bows. Jeff, your very talented and it seems to be passed down to you. :D

like them all, great work!!

Really good job. Was given one made by an old man years and years ago. Really good call. Never thought about using a rib bone but, it sure makes sense.

From: Wayne Hess
Date: 18-Apr-19

Good looking, Some times you have to get sideways to shoot one called in.

From: raghorn

I have a few of these "striker" calls. I think the predecessor was scratching on the gun stock. I really like using them. My favorite one is made by Purdy Mt, the Limb Lust. Also have calls by Cray King, and Gobblers End, and Cedar Hill Game call. Mine use a flat piece of thin wood rather then the rib bone. Work well for soft tree yelps, to loud yelps and clucks, purrs etc.

I just found another one in the box of calls...made by Roy Rhodes.

Cool let's see some old scratch box calls. JF

From: Rick Barbee

Jeff, I'd love to see & hear a video of you operating one of those. All of them if you have time.

Very cool.

Koohool thank you Rick Barbee. The actual call sounds a bit better but hey going from Iowa to Oklahoma and then to the leatherwall that's pretty close, LOL. JF

These two new ones and Grandpa's original and his rib bone are going out with me tomorrow morning. I know Turkey population is down up here but we'll see what's happening. JF
