Hey Guys and Gals,

A friend and I will be traveling to Idaho to hunt elk / deer this year. Can anyone provide me with information about cabin rentals in the area?

We will be hunting unit 48 or 43 and would like to find a place in the mountains, but we will drive if necessary.

Thanks!

Rick

I used this service to find a cabin in Maine and it worked out fine. Just in case you don't get many responses.

I live 75 miles from Ketchum. It's a resort town, you won't find much in the way of cabin rentals. If you luck into one, it will be expensive. Best bet is to find something in the town of Ketchum, or if you want to drive, Hailey, or Bellevue will probably have something. You most likely will be looking at a motel of some sort unless you find an air bnb. If hunting 43, Fairfield may have something but it will be limited as the population is low.

If you can't find a cabin maybe rent a camper or RV...then you can move around if you have to more readily.

Why not set up a tent camp in the area you are hunting. Less expensive and can be moved if needed very easily.
