A few weeks ago Gary posted a pic of his semi recurve. I had always wanted one of Gary's bows and I liked the design of the new bow so I contacted him to see about having one built. Gary is very good with communication, he's patient and easy to work with. The Razorback is only available in 62" length. I requested a low 50#s draw weight and the bow came out at 51# @28". Gary combined what he thought made great shooting bows between longbows and recurves to develop the semi recurve and I must agree, it's one fine shooting bow. The bow has a great grip, it's smooth on the draw, plenty fast, zero hand shock and it's almost dead silent, probably the quietest bow I've shot. Gary knows what makes a great performing bow and he nailed it with the Razorback.

Semi recurves were popular for years and years. Glad to see they are gaining popularity again.
That's a great looking bow.

Gary makes great bows and it's fun to get a bow made for you. Here's my 1966 semi recurve, and it is also a great shooter. Congratulations on your bow.

E-mail coming as soon as I can get some free time, Gary. Won't be off again till Monday, but looking forward to discussing a new Razorback with you (still referring to it as the "Delirious", haha).
God bless ya, Gary, and thanks for all the advice you've given me for well over a decade.

Kent Alan. Thanks for the compliment. These days, especially, its nice to hear a person has good friends. Marian and I are going to a traditional archery shoot at Moses Lake, WA. We will probably camp out in the hills a little bit also on the way there and on the way back. Will have a computer but my email and messages may be a little bit slow for a couple weeks as to spotty service.

I think you'll like the Razorback Rick. For me, it's the most accurate bow I've ever shot.

Billy, I have had about three of Gary's bows in the past, all well made and nice shooters. I am looking forward to see what Gary has come up with this time.

Tim Thank you for the compliment. My whole life in the Alaska bush and still today is basically keep it simple. I have found over the years that too much new and improved can turn out to be a failure. The Razorback bow, however, is a progressive bow for me. It was time to move on to a bow that performs well under adverse conditions, dependable, designed for limb stability and can shoot a heavy arrow. Also like so many I’m getting older and its hard to struggle with the heavy longbows that I used to shoot.
