If you want to remove them, use hot melt, not epoxy or insert iron, which is probably also an epoxy. Heat the insert a little (not too much), put some hot melt on it and slide it in. To remove the insert, screw in a field point and heat it. It will heat the insert enough to pull it out Or, if you have tapered aluminum inserts, just heat the tapered aluminum extending beyond the shaft, not the fiberglass. Go slow and don't overheat, and you'll be able to remove them quite easily.

It doesn't take much heat to burn those fiberglass shafts.

All I remember using was hot melt. I didn’t have a lot of archery money back then so changing out points was necessary.

Hot melt is what we used when those arrows were new.

Low temp hot melt. I use some of the old Microflite arrows. Use low temp, then heat the insert while you have a field point screwed into it...push in quickly and it will stay. You never need epoxy or super glue to hold inserts...it may be easier and quicker but it's too dang permanent, especially with composite arrow shafts. I don't lose points and I use the cheap low temp, Walmart craft glue.
These are Microflite arrows in the quiver.
