I'm using a limb clicker for shot activation.

I took the ball-chain adjuster off to eliminate noise and stop chipping my limb finish.

Does anyone here know of a knot I can use for EASY length adjudtment?

Thanks for any help.

I just put it through the center of the string. The tension should be enough to hold in place. Then just pull to desired length.

If you're using a Flemish string, you can just put it thru the strands. If you're using an endless string, you may have to serve above and below the cord to get enough pressure to keep it from slipping. I've used a halfhitch at times too.

You can use a bowstring loop knot.

In step 1 an overhand knot is used, but I have found that a figure eight knot works better. In some lines the overhand knot will slip along the single line towards the loop, but a figure eight will not. The free end does not slip back out when the loop is elongated and tight, but you can pull it back out by pulling both sides of the elongated loop apart. I've found this knot useful in securing lines I use to tie down materials in my truck bed, that I want to stay taut.

I took the chain off too and just tied about 4 overhand knots spaced out about 1/2". That me enough room to hone in on the right length for me.

Clove hitch around the bowstring, it will hold tight but adjust easily.

I use the configuration described in the instructions that come w the clicker. It adjusts easily ( bow unstrung) and once set holds it's position. I replace the chain and string with d loop material. Good luck.

Unstring the bow. Make a loop towards the end of the clicker line and feed it through the flemish bundles. String the bow and draw to full draw. The line sliding through the bow string will self-adjust to the proper length of draw. Let down. Take the end of the clicker line and feed it through the now smaller loop and pull tight.

If you have an endless string, you can do the same thing but you'll have to tie it in as you would tie a nocking point. Nail knot.

When I'm absolutly positive I have the exact length of the clicker line I cut off the tab, leaving enough to burn a knob, so length can't increase.

1buckurout shows how I have found it best to set up. Easy to adjust.

I tie a short string in place of the chain about 2 inches long. Put a knot in the end and melt it. Take your string that you have put between your bowstring back to the string that replaced the chain. Tie it on with a slip knot. This way you can loosen the slip knot and remove it to twist your string to change brace height. Hope that makes sense.

I like the idea of making it removable so I can tune brace height and put it back.

I'm using this method since I take my bow down regularly:

A tautline hitch will work. feed the tag end through your bundles and bring it back and do a tautline hitch. infinitely adjustable.

I always let the chain on and rolled a narrow peice mole skin around the chain. easy to unwrap and adjust or unhook and wrap back.

Like said previously, a Clove Hitch.
