Hi guys!

Coming back from taking an archery break due to some non archery related nerve trouble.

My hunting bow is a Tradtech Galaxy 17" with Longs. I had a Gillo Ghost for a bit but the first time I pulled it up a tree, I decided to sell it instead. It was pretty and I didn't want to scratch it!

I do like the light weight of the Galaxy....but I am thinking about the Satori. I really like their adjustable shelf system. I'm aware of the Tradtech Titan. And I am sure my Galaxy will strip out eventually

I've had my head out of the market...is there anything else I should know about in the hunting ILF riser market?

I already have a beater metal generic chinese riser that actually shoots pretty well. Just interested in moving up.

My 'other bow' is a slick Bernardini Nilo

Check out the omp nightridge. Its a 19" riser and im shooting recurve and longbow limbs. Great folks to deal with, i called omp directly, had my riser in 3 days via fedex- free shipping.

Another detail...I've been keeping my hunting rigs set up to shoot off the shelf with velcro.

It would be convenient to stick with a 17" so I don't need new limbs (have 3 sets) or strings.

The Hoyt Satori is the finest factory made hunting recurve on the market. If I were buying a new one that's what it would be. But not just the riser.

Look at Samick Discovery ILF ... 3R more of a hunting riser than target riser. I'm shooting Samick Discovery carbon/foam limbs...

CD Archery WF19 Stalker is great riser. I love mine

The CD riser looks pretty slick. I wonder if the weight will bug me (I know I would like it when SHOOTING).

For any one else looking....the Morrison 17" Aluminum is 1.5# lighter than the CD

I had to add 12 ounces below the grip to suite my needs, but that’s just me. I like a heavy bow. It’s a real work horse too. Used mine as a pulling stick and my string for a tow rope. This is how they all come out of the woods from now on.

I went ahead and ordered the Satori 17". Medium weight (lighter than my Gillo I had) and I am really interested in that shelf system.

Only got to shoot my new Satori for 30 minutes this morning, but it is NICE. The weight and balance is just right for me and the grip shape is too.
