The great thing about this "all around" shoot is you can shoot the Howard Hill course several times with different bows, with friends and family. You can test your competitive spirit/skill with a bow on the IBO course, 1 time around, shooting with your peers with like bows. Then, you can come out about 4pm on Friday and Saturday, and shoot in, or watch one of the many shootdowns. Don;t forget your Selfbow to shoot in the Selfbow Shootdown. PS....You won't want to miss the Women's Team Shoot on Friday, all skill levels welcome, very much fun, lots of new friends to meet. It's a great weekend for archery!

For the team event the women are the captains. They pick 2 or 3 men as team members randomly out of a hat. Just sign up at the table. It’s great fun.

This tournament is a perfect combination of competitive shooting with a rendezvous feel. Lots of novelty, fun events for all skill levels. Hundreds of shooters enjoying archery. Lots of vendors with all sorts of goods, products, bows, etc. Check out my friend and TX bowyer, Bob Sarrels, of Sarrels Archery, (makes a mean longbow), who is coming with his daughter who makes beautiful jewelry. P.S....Don't forget some extra money for raffles, bows, jewelry, and other vendors products, you will need it as they all have great items.

Perfect opportunity to introduce someone to traditional archery. The only event that has elite archers shooting with the family, friends, in a competitive/rendezvous atmosphere all in one! A great time to ask questions, visit with great archers, and witness some great shooting of traditional bows. Competing, or spectating, it will be a great event. The team event where the women are the captains, is one time it doesn't matter if you are a beginner or a lifelong veteran of the sport, you will be shooting together and laughing while competing with your bow. Selfbows, recurves, longbows, in head to head competition. Amazing to watch these shooters, compete, smile, and be happy for each other. A real pleasure to watch and be a part of a spectacular event like this.
