I searched the archives but did not find anything recent, and I know that some glue formulas have changed. I use glue on nocks on aluminum arrows. What currently made glue should I use for nocks? I used the old white fletchtite for many years.

Fletchtite is what I still use for nocks. And if I'm fletching I use it with wraps.

I use Gorilla Gel Super Glue for nocks on aluminum. Not sure it is best, but it works. I used to just Duco, that seemed to work as well on grid and roughened tapers. On smooth tapers like most of my 1918 Autumn oranges are, I think I have more faith in the gel.

Saunders now.fletchtite also works fine. But clean the nock taper well with laquer thinner first.

I use NVP glue these days for nocks, feathers and vanes. I only use SG if it’s a field repair.

I've had good luck with fletchtite platnum - for gluing on nocks, NOT for feathers on aluminum!

Fletchtite for years without a problem. Now it’s Dap rapidfuse just because I can get it locally. No trouble with it either.

Saunders or Fletchtite will work just fine. If you are only doing a few you can use about any glue for nocks.

The same Gorilla glue shown above is also available in a paint on brush version. Very versatile. The fact is glue on nocks will sometimes stay on without glue, so I see now reason the new Fletchtite Platinum will not work fine. Platinum has always worked well with aluminum.
