First hunt of the first day. There is something magical about bowhunting turkey. Guess it’s just getting out there in the spring. Everything is getting green, flowers blooming, trees budding out. It’s tough not to love every aspect of spring turkey season!!

Congrats!!!! I am curious too, blind or not blind? I am going to try and get one without a blind this year, using my ASAT Leafy Suit.

Congrats! Tell us the details. From a blind? How far was the shot? How far did he go? Some of us have weeks to go before season starts.

Nice bird! I missed a small tom today when my limb tip whacked the ceiling of my blind! It was pretty loud and the arrow flew extra wonky. It was a clean miss and I couldn't find a rip in my blind, so I can laugh about it now!

David McLendon,I would imagine so.
The calling them in on a string is the challenge for me. I really enjoy talking to the birds and getting them to do what I want them to do. Seeing a strutting, drumming, spitting gobbler come from a half mile away is all the enjoyment I can stand. Thanks again everyone!
