Heading out to north central Florida to hunt Spanish hogs. There were a lot of nay sayers on here saying not to go. Or that it cant be done. Found an outfit that will cater to my traditional requests and wont break the bank. I'm not one for a caged hunt and this one is treestands over bait. Free range true Spanish hogs. Not only do they have hogs...they have some great outfitters if you look around.

Best of luck. Let us know how it goes and most importantly, post pictures.

I don't know why anybody would say not to go. I've been going with my friends on our annual Florida hog hunt for sixteen years. This year they had an tremendous acorn crop so you are going at the right time since most of the acorns should be gone now so the feeders should be productive.

Sounds like you're in for a great hunt. Good luck, be safe and enjoy yourself. Report back, interested to hear about your experience.

I am leaving for Sarasota in 2 weeks for a month,,,, fishing and relaxation, (the wife retired),,,, going an hour and half east for pig hunt, maybe a gator, it does not matter

one thing about Florida, is what a great place to shoot ducks, in the late fall, down in the lower,,,,,,,

Florida is a lot of fun
