Central Texas pig hunting. A natural flood created blind ( bent over pecan with mud and debris) . On my own place, homemade Osage bow, and my Douglas fir arrows I built. It don’t get any better. Well, it might if some pigs come in!!

Cool deal. I was hoping to get out this week but I don't think it's going to happen.

Gettin dark, no pigs! This bright moon probably has them eating at night. Still a blessing to be out waiting on some!! Feels great to be out huntin between deer and turkey season. Just a really nice evening all in all.

Wudstix, I met you a few years back at a granger ranger extreme hunt. I walked back to camp with you after an evening hunt. I was, regrettably carrying a compound. I was making some selfbows at that time but wasn’t really confident in huntin with em yet! Shortly after I sold that wheel bow and have been hunting exclusively with traditional gear. I’d be into a pig hunt any time with you at granger! The GRXH wasn’t really my thing but I do love chasing hogs there!

Ken, I don't make it many shoots. Too much to do around the place. I do want to try and make some this summer though.
Wudstix, I hunt Granger frequently as well. I normally park under the bridge at Circleville and go down the river from there. I don't live too far from the area and have been hunting and fishing over there since i was a kid.

Fdp, I spent many a day under that bridge and down river from there during the white bass run! May have met you after all through the years!

This has always been my problem. When you own land there is too much to do.
