Question for Selway quiver users. Do you prefer the slide on or strap on? Do you find a benefit of one over the other?

Strap on...slide on are a PITA. Strap on install in an instant.

Much prefer the strap on type.

I prefer the strap on, easy on and easy off plus you don't have to unstring the bow to do either one.

I actually have their third style. It looks somewhat like a slide on but has a rubber knob that "screws" it tight to the limb. You don't have to unstring the bow to mount this quiver either.

I have both and prefer the strap on

Never tried a strap on, but have been shooting slide ons for about 30 years. They stay put and are quiet. Never had a problem. I don't take my quiver off the bow so a quick detach feature doesn't hold much benefit for me. The strap ons look a little bulkier IMO. But, whatever floats your boat.

I am a Selway Slide On fan, have been for well over 25 years, especially for one piece bows. Had/have them on my Martin bows and have them on my Samick take down bows. The only other quivers I use is Thunderhorn bolt on quivers. Not a fan of strap on quivers of any kind. I tried them didn't care for them. I have friends that love them. That is the great thing there are choices out there for all of us. DANNY

I prefer a slide on too. I think it’s a quieter set up.

Strap on.

Screw on quick detach model.

1. Screw on (My Preferred method)

2. Slide on (Works great, soap up the limbs before sliding it on and it'll never move.)

3. Strap on (Not for me...too gangly or "ugly" with unsightly appendages and stuff I don't need.)

I reccomend the slide on if your quiver stays on the bow like it does mine. I never take it off, but you can't go wrong with any of their models. Top notch quality and service.

The Selway rubber slide on helped me deaden some noise on a machined Ilf bow. I keep the quiver on.

Slide on fan here but I always leave my quiver on the bow.

Strap on, I use the take down bow feature quite often.

Great products and company with Selway. I had met Gordy and I’ve talked to the new ownership and they are from the same mold. They are traditional archery people who also own a traditional archery company..they are very good to talk with and they know the products and there function inside and out.

I have the slide on, really like it for alot of the reasons above. Its quiet and simple, im looking at getting the one with the knob that screws on or just another slide on. Great quiver though
