I was shooting with Mikey back in January getting ideas for each shot. Mikes got some great ideas and put a lot of thought and work into this shoot. Come out and enjoy!!

A note for my fellow Mortals:

You see that bandana Mike has on his quiver? Comes in handy when you hit Mud.

Make sure you pack an arrow-wiping rag, because unless you’re Perfect, you’ll save a lot of wear & tear on your shelf & sideplate. Soil at the club is pretty gritty.

Thanks Stickshooter! We're really pushing the word out for this shoot and for Cos Cob Archers in general. We're hoping for a really good turnout for this one!

It also looks like we might have another vendor coming. Oncore Targets https://www.sadlakproducts.com/

And East Coast Bowhunting Podcast will be there as well and broadcast their podcast at the event! www.eastcoastbowhuntingpodcast.libsyn.co

This is going to be great!

Bring the kids - show ‘em some nature!!

Plenty of frogs singing today

And - almost forgot! I did some pruning up high in the lane for one of the long shots... there are some overhanging branches that have caused a few deflections and cost me a few arrows.... :p

When they’re 20-some feet up and take a tick upwards....

That work party yesterday whipped my butt!

I got the pole chain-saw out and cleared a few more limbs to open up the shooting lane for the 100-yard-bomb at the rams in the rocks....

What could possibly go wrong shooting 100 yards into a boulder-strewn hillside?
