First off, I’m not sure I’m recieving any pm’s, so please contact me through this, or get my email, or something

I have a 3R Tomahawk Thunderstorm II 62” 45# that I love, but I think I can get it to shoot even better with a different string. Currently shooting the stock, 18 strand fast flight plus. Can any of you give me a good recommendation, and where I can get it from?

I have shot an 8 strand ultracam in the past, and I didn’t care for it too much (was a little too skinny for me maybe) Was hoping to be somewhere around 12 strands of maybe a better material? I don’t know, you guys know much better than I. Hoping somebody has a great idea for me

Barry Hughes aka "stilldub" here on the Leatherwall. Sells from his eBay store.

Barry's strings are top-shelf. You won't go wrong with his worksmanship.

Strand count is way down the list of things that matter in a quality string.

I’m ready to call anybody, and order, I just have no idea what to get that would be any different than what I currently have on the bow.

You can find "stilldub" as a seller on eBay. He uses BCY-X, and I think it is great. Follow his instructions for information, especially the nocks you use, and try a 14 or 15 strand string. I'm sure you'll be a fan of his before the week is out.

Bcyx is good but discontinued. No advantage to using less than 18 strands of it. That's been proven by many.
