So I finally (7 years early) paid my house off and was thinking about getting a custom bow to reward myself. I always liked the looks of the Predator, but I've never shot one. I hate to buy an expensive bow that I've never shot.

Then I got to thinking that I could buy 6-8 bows off of ebay for the price of one nice custom.

Then I got to thinking that I have 6-8 bows right here at the house that never get shot.

Then I got to thinking that I can probably find 50 things to spend that money on right here at home. Heck, I still have a teenager living here, and she sure isn't cheap.

So in the end I guess I'm holding off on that nice custom bow. I still have 2 or 3 bows on the list that I'd like to own one day, but there's no rush.

I have thinned mine down a bunch, and still have a few that don't get shot.

Look for a great used custom bow and save a bunch of money. I bought a used BW and I saved over $500 for a 5 year old bow in perfect condition.

Congratulation on burning the mortgage, it's a whole new world. Enjoy every day and if that involves shooting a bow, well, all the better. You'll know what to do.
