I just relocated to eastern NY near Newburgh. I’m looking for shoots to go to but 3Dshoots seems to be down and I can’t find any listings anywhere. Anybody from NY know of a place to go to find listings?

I'm sure you'll be hearing from a bunch of NY folks shortly, but for a start, you might look up NY Traditional Bowhunters.

I don’t know much about listings, but we have a great one coming up not far from you at the end of April here at Cos Cob Archers!!

We also have an open shoot at the end of every month (last Sunday), although this weekend shoot has been canceled due to forecasted 100% chance of rain…

Go on YouTube 3D Archery with Greg Richards. He's in New York and goes to a lot of shoots and videos them. He does come on here sometimes and I think his handle is 3D Archery.

Click on the 'bowsite' tab up top of the page, navigate to the New York forum and ask there. Also check for listings under your state.

I had the same problem when I moved to AZ. I tried the state organizations but only found their shoots. Finally found the info on a local archery store website. Not what I was used to but I muddled through.

Surprised there's not more feedback for you. You might try asking over on TG, I KNOW there's a solid NY bunch over there.

Actually reading the posts here about shoots helps and asking of course like you have. But another post about the PA LB shoot has led to me a club not that far from my son’s house. Another shooting option when we visit him. I hope you find a club that you feel comfortable with.

Thanks for all the help guys. I got used to being able to go to a shoot every weekend back in Missouri during the off season. The clubs there worked with each other so you could go almost every weekend every month.

Hi Slinger, Don't miss Whittingham Traditional 3D Rendezvous this April 12,13 and 14. Well worth the trip to Jersey and only about an hour or so from you.
