So I’m performing 12 shows at the 2019 San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo yesterday through Sunday. I had our six year old with me today and he was great. He would help with the show and tell the assistants what balloons ya use next, etc. At the end he would shoot his new St Charles longbow. The audiences loved it.
He would sign my publicity photos after the shows. People lined up. He’s in first grade and it was fun to watch. I would intentionally stay away from the meet and greet table- picking up the ballon pieces, etc and cleaning up the stage while he signed and talked to people. He and his 12 year old brother are the third generation archers in our family.
I just wanted to share this with you. It was a big day at our place and I sure am proud of him!

It was a great day. His brother shot on stage with me when he was six too. So our third generation is shooting archery. My parents will bowhunt for bear in June (mom has taken 20 witha. How) and I do the shows and now the boys are both into archery.
Fun stuff. That’s my folks this past summer with their first bows and me with my first bow. March will mark 48 years in archery.

That's great right there. Six years old and he's taking over the P.R. position. Reminds me of my daughter at that age. Priceless.
