Thinking about ordering one of Vince's longbows. Anyone have pics and or opinions? Thanks

I had one a couple years ago and liked it.

I had one probably a decade ago. It was a good bow, never really got along with the grip then though. But now I bet that grip would fit me just fine. The one I had, had somewhat of a dished super narrow grip. Wasn't my thing then. At that time I had only shot recurve and longbows with locator style grips. But after shooting asl's for a long while, I'm sure I would love it now.

I’ve recently got one of his on a trade. Many bows have come and go all I can say about my Mohawk Classic is, !! Wow !!! Very smooth, forgiving, it points naturally, just a joy to shot.

Last email I got from Vince is he was in the process of moving his shop but will be getting orders soon.

This one is a classic 40# 68”

Unless I'm mistaken, Recarga's bow used to be mine. I too, received the bow on a trade. Man, that bow excels in every form, it's just easy to shoot. I liked the bow so much I ordered a new one.

All I will add from here out is I wish I had just kept that bow and left well enough alone. Good Luck!!!!

Then this bow has a sales curse because I too want to order another one. One of the top shooters from Texas shot it last weekend and was very impressed.

They are great bows. I have 4 of them. Bought 3 of them used. They are great shooting bow, smooth and quiet. I’ve had many comment on how quiet mine are.

i had a 62" Sparrowhawk 52@28. had red elm limbs and boo cores. Cocabolo and bocote riser. amazing bow, could hit anything. I shot that bow so much i had an elbow injury in bow arm. I donated the bow to St. Judes auction a few years back. bow was in new shape and didn't bring much $, but at least all went to a great charity. Vince builds a great bow.

I've had a classic and a sparrowhawk. I liked the classic better for some reason. Got into the more radical R/D bows and sent the mohawks down the road. My friends called my classic, "Wait for it" because I'd shoot an arrow and there was a pause while you waited for the arrow to get to the target. I'd say speed is close to similar bow styles, but no where near a radical R/D or good recurve.

Had two of them over the years...a really good bow for sure. Fit and finish and shooting characteristics all agreed with me. Used to be reasonably priced too..not sure how much he gets now.
