good spine in 5/16 shafts for a 44@48 hickory longbow arrows cut to 30" with 70 grain heads

44@48 ??? round handle ? does it have a shelf or are you shooting off a knuckle & lastly 70 grain points are awfully light for that type of bow ? I'm no expert but your gonna need to be a lot more specific

70 grains isn't too light for target shooting, 3D or whatever. You just have to work the gozintos since it will require a more limber/flexible arrow. That's why we need the draw length. You can't figure spine without that.

If your bow draws 44@28 and you're drawing 26, you're drawing in the neighborhood of 39#. I'll assume a dacron string on the self bow. Just inquisitive, with a 26-inch draw, why do you want arrows 30 inches bop? Regardless, if you want to keep them that long, and given the light head, something in the 30-35# range should work, maybe 5# heavier.
