Nothing wrong with a Zipper.... except wanting another one habit forming!!! Great looking wood choices.

Wow that’s a good looking bow! What’s the woods in it?

That is a gorgeous bow, and who is Tom? Did Dunn sell out? I love my Thompson Zippers, but quit Zipper when Thompson sold out. Is there a new owner, I guess? And if so, he's really picked up the craftsmanship of Bob, as well as the esthetics, and hopefully the shootability!

I think he did an has gone into making broadheads with his time, Grizzly Broadheads... From what I have read.

There wasn't enough Bill Dunn to go around building broadheads and bows so Bill taught Tom Jenkins the bow building business and set him loose after training him up. Both men are exceptional bow builders and I wouldn't think much of any man who put either of them down. I consider them both close friends.

Woods are Ebony and Zebra with Sheep Horn. I’ll definitely give you my thoughts when I get my hands on it!

As previously said Tom Jenkins "Kentucky TJ" took over for Bill. He has been building all the Zipper bows for around 2 years now. I just got my new one in January with the new C2 glass/boo limbs and its a shooter through and through and quiet. Tom is great to deal with and wants his customers satisfied. I wouldnt mind a Nitro too someday.

MH - we are in the same boat. My Cari-bow is shipped... but not here. Your bow is beautiful... if it shoots half as good as it looks the deer are in trouble. Best wishes... please post more pics and let us know how she drives.

I own a Thompson zipper and recently went to Tom's shop and checked out his operation and had to have a new one after shooting his personal bow. Tom really knows how to pair woods and has a great design in his new c2 limbs which are what I picked. Tom's bows are definitely an upgrade to the Thompson bow I have which is a great bow in every aspect. Can't go wrong with any zipper in my opinion! Great looking bow moosehunter and I have no doubt you'll like the way it performs.

Just a quick report on my new zipper with C2 limbs..... whew doggies!!!! That dog can hunt!!!! I’m telling y’all, I like this bow. The grip is different than I’m used to but I’m really pleased with it and I don’t miss a larger palm swell. This bow is super quiet and fast! It has a great sight window and it is certainly shooting where I’m looking. The bow is heavier than most of my other bows so I love how steady it is to hold and shoot. I got it tuned and am shooting 300 spine arrows with 175 gr up front. I am thinking between my other favorites, this bow is going to become my go to bow! Some really tight groups today at 27 yds, just about got a Robin Hood!
