Does anyone have experience with Wengered Archery? Relatively new company, but bows look amazing.

They look a lot like Norm Johnson's bows, but them is way out of my pay grade. Great looking bows for sure.

I talked to a guy last night that has one and loves it. It just came up in conversation so he didn't say much other than it looks great and shoots every bit as good as it looks.

I'm looking at the Tahr longow, probably in two piece.

Trent Wengerd, "Wengerd Archery", has made the trip to ETAR the last couple years. I shot one of his hybrid T/D longbows last summer at ETAR and just couldn't leave without it. It's 58" 48# @ 28" it's best bow I've shot in a long time. I have another set of limbs coming in just a week or so. Trent is definitely the new kid on block with his lineup of traditional bows. For a young guy he has a ton of experience in building bows. Check out his website and facebook page.

Trent is top shelf people. Follow him on Instagram to see more of his amazing work. My brother and the guys at RMSGear know him well. Talented and down to earth. The bows are on the same level as Blacktail and the other cream of the crop.

My buddy had one of his bows. I thought it was a Blacktail at first. Excellent craftsmanship. The bow was very smooth and quiet.

I was told his bows looked like Norm Johnson's.

Difficult making a top quality recurve these days without it resembling some other brands.

I shot his carbon limb recurve at ETAR two years ago and had to call on all the resistance I could muster not to take it home. He makes one hell of a bow.

like the looks of his one piece longbow espically the tips

kinda like the blacktail or Black widow (Hybrid/semi-recurve design)

Yeah, I have talked/e-mailed Trent and am really looking at the Tahr in two-piece. Basic is black glass limbs, so I'll probably go a bit more custom.
