What Bear quiver would be correct to use on a Kodiak takedown A handle magnesium riser bow? The riser has 1 lower riser accessory threaded whole with large screw. I have seen 2 spring models, 1 spring and 1 bolt models and 1 bolt models. Will not drill and tap a perfect riser. Thinking the A riser with # 1 limbs is a short 56 inches and that a 4 arrow quiver may be better than the 8. Never could afford one of these as a young in, finally got old enough to buy one.

There's one with a spring arm top and screw attach bottom bracket.

All these will work and would be correct ( except the last one on the left ) if there is a bushing on the lower riser's side or with a stabilizer bushing using a bow quiver adapter kit.

If you know the year your Kodiak Takedown was made I could look in that years Bear catalog and see which quivers were available that year.

WOW! Thanks for the answer and photos. Does the tab on the quiver rest against the bow or is there a nylon/rubber washer between the bow and quiver? I guess the big auction house is the place to start looking. Thanks again, Brian.

You can use a rubber washer to protect your riser.

Remember also, these quivers are right/left specific.

I do what George said with rubber washer. A piece of leather works but not as waterproof. Those adapters for the wood riser are not available and fetch a good price.

I have made a number of the adapters, didn't know they were hard to come by just a cheep old tin nocker

You can use two of those eight arrow grippers and your arrows won't be falling out of a single gripper..Just bolt another gripper to the one already on the quiver..Kind of off set the bottom one to your arrow holes on the original gripper..

A piece of bike inner tube works.
