Sapper they're not that hard to make. I use douglas fir and local hardwood. Half inch by half inch blanks and some patience:) JayInOz

I thought they were expensive when they were 75.00 a dozen. Now they are astronomicaly expensive!! But now that's also the case with plain cedar shafting!

Double check but I don't think the Footed Shaft sells them. Terry bought the business from the guy that did make them and sell them and Terry kept the name. I have been in there a bunch of times and never seen footed shafts in there.

The Footed Shaft was called that LONG before Terry was around! He bought the SHOP called Footed Shaft from a long time friend of mine Lamont Granger. Lamont had a contact that supplied footed arrows. As far as I know it's the same person Terry gets them from. Not always in stock but they can be ordered.

Yes..they have to be ordered..I think Terry list a wait time on them.

They cost a bunch because it takes aBUNCH of personal actions to make them properly. Not hard to make the two spice ones, but four takes a modicum of skill and patience I do not have.

Raptor Archery, I have about 3 dozen of Ted's footed shafts and they are great. My favorites are the bois d'arc.

I was in the Footed Shaft the other day and Terry told me he still sells footed shafts. Give him a call. Him and Barb are great folks to deal with.
