Heading to Colorado this year so decided I needed a new bow.....

Jan. 14th. finalized specs with Dan over the phone and placed the order. Dan thought 6 weeks out

Jan 16th. Dan sends me this pic of Lams he is using.

Feb. 8th. Receive call from Dan he is shipping bow

Feb. 11th. Bow arives via USPS in schedule 80 pvc tube in perfect condition.

Tommarrow 1 month later I will be tunning arrows.

This was not a fluke! My previous experience with Dan on my Pika was no different. Received it in 3 weeks.

Lot of good customer boyers out there !! Just wanting to share my experience with Dan and Jarred.

Weather permiting hope to have pics on monday.

I have never had to wait more than 5 weeks for any of the 8 bows Dan built for me. Every one had eye popping wood, easy to tune, super quiet, great shooters.

Just ordered my 4th Toelke. A 56 Pika 47@28.

Best bows ever in my opinion!

What are your veneers?

I should have stated the Pic is the vaneers used not the lams.

They are "Myrtle"

Nice! I love my Pika and Whistler! Getting the itch to get a 2 piece Whistler or Whip.

Linen Micarta Riser - Myrtle face vaneers - Zircote

Beautiful bow! I have a "new to me" 56" Pika with Cocobolo riser and Tiger Myrtle Veneers. Mine is 47@28 too. I have never shot one.....I am excited and hope they shoot as good as they look! How are the speeds on the Pika and Whistler at 9-10 GPP? Will they compete with my Kanati and Centaur Chimera? I like that phenolic riser...if I get the chance to order one directly from Toelke I definitely want to go that route. Congratulations on the beautiful bow!

Not sure on the speed. I shoot 14 gpp on my 50lb. Pika so that would not be a good comparison. I ordered the Whister for an up comming elk hunt. Its 56 @ 28 and I plan on staying somewhere around 12gpp. The Micarta. add just a little more mass weight to the bow.

That is one beautiful bow! Wow!

Here's another "Hat's off to Toelke". I don't know why all custom bowyers can't operate like Toelke.

Awesome bow. What length did you go with? Any face on pics of the limbs of the finished bows. That looks like some fantastic myrtle.

Absolutely stunning combo, I hope to have Dan build one for me soon. Is there zircote layered with micarta in the grip cap stacks and thumb rest?

Yes there is some but not as much as he normally uses. When ordering I ask Dan for very little. I wanted an almost all black riser. Good luck. know doubt you will love what ever Dan make for you.

You're going to love that bow and how it shoots. I have two Whistlers and everything else is sitting on the shelf. Congrats.
