Since the high fence thread got axed ...how would one of Oklahoma's favorite draw hunts figure into fair chase ?

Hunting on any military reservation ?

I missed the high fence thread. I would say the Army base is fair chase.

The last time I was there it was five strands of bobwire. But I'm not sure we should be talking about how the fences are around mcaap. Jmhop

Are you looking for an answer based on a governing body rule or general opinion?

Like I said on the other thread before it got shut down 100,000 acres behind a high fence encloses 156.25 square miles of land.

So there's that.

There is something I think is interesting about a very large high fence base that maintains around 1,200 elk. We now have elk hunting in at least the two counties all the way around the in closure . That's about sixty miles away . The reason I don't like talking about the military base fences / hunts is the negative impact pertaining to security . Do you think the government is the one's asking for a bunch of civilians to come on board and kill some deer. No there not and it's a request that has to have cleric every year. I liked the high fence thread where all can leter rip, snort, buck and fart but think leave the military bases out of it.

John the hunt dates are in the online hunting apps if there out . Backwoods will be having there annual 3-D shoot as well the first part of August and will be posted at a later date. We're adding a super senior class this year and will be using something hand made for there prize.

5 strands of barbed wire is not a high fence. Dispersion still happens from one area to another, be it to miles away or the next pasture.
