Saw on Facebook that Great Northern is starting to make the Ghost again. They have one on their stock bow page that is 58 inches.

I shot that exact bow at Kalamazoo, it was really nice. The Osage gave it an awesome look too.

Great to see them building them again. They are very fast and quiet recurves.

I've been trying to land a Ghost off the classifieds for years. It seems they were never built less than 55lbs though. Would love to find a 44-46lber.

I have never owned a Ghost, but I have owned several Great Northerns, and so has my son.
Absolutely top quality. I'm happy to see they are bringing this one back.

The GN Ghost is about a simply perfect bow. I prefer longbows, but my osage Ghost is like shooting a longbow, but with a big curve on each end. :) There's nothing that I would change about the way they are made or the way they shoot.

BowAholic X 2. Been shooting longbows for over 50 years but always liked the slim riser, straight grip of the Ghost....about as simple as it gets, nice lines, no extra fancy shmancy. Always tempted to order one just never did. Bought a used '91 model about a year ago and love it! Super performer!
And great folks too...

I have had 3 Super Ghosts.I liked my 1st one most.It was also all osage and a 60 incher.I have a thing for narrow limbed, deeper cored recurves. The ghosts are classics IMO.
Are thier tip inserts in the new ones.I thought they added those at some point?
Good to see thier back along with the Critter Gitter which also very nice indeed.

I’ve seen Great Northern at shows and always was surprised by the consistent quality of Great Northern Bows and Great Northern Quivers. 100% across the line.

Only slightly related, but can someone explain to me how GN longbows are nearly straight-limbed yet seem to be very short in length for average to longer draws? Looks like some of the longbows are 58-60” for 28+” draws. They seem to go against the grain in that respect and I can’t figure out how or why. They look like great bows though. Thanks,
Pete

Another slight detour. This bow looks much like m John McDonald recurve this design is indeed a very good one.
