Just passing this along to the Traditional Archers in the Southwestern Pennsylvania region who follow the Leatherwall, and could use a January 3D shoot:

Sunday, January 20, 2019, "Strictly Sticks Traditional Archers" is once again presenting their "SPAM Shoot", the annual mid-winter season shoot where not only can you shoot a good 3D course, but all registered Traditional Archers will be eligible for randomly drawn SPAM and Yoohoo!!
The course will open at 8 AM and continue until 1 PM. Bring yourself; your family members; your friends both old and new; and travel over yonder hills and valleys, and welcome in a new year of Traditional Archery 3D !
Yes, there will be snow on the ground. And it will probably be cold. Nuclear Creek may be ice covered in places (but do things nuclear really freeze?)... And the course will be outside, in all of this, following a yet-to-be determined pathway.
This is simply what "Strictly Sticks Traditional Archers" does. And we hope we do it good enough for you to consider joining us.
Yes, the kitchen will be open for breakfast and lunch. No, we won't be serving SPAM. The SPAM and Yoohoo will be randomly awarded to 3 registrants, with the first drawing at around 10:30 AM, then at 11:30 AM, and finally around 12:30 PM.
To our knowledge, there doesn't seem to be any schedule conflict with any other local Traditional 3D shoots the same day. Nor, are the regional football teams playing on the telly. So, all seems clear!
And there ya have it: plain and simple. We've got a Traditional 3D Shoot awaiting you, and you may win SPAM. You'll be with friends. And you'll be shooting your bow.
