Just completed a set of limbs to fit an original Rocky Mountain Recurve. It is really nice to see this old classic flinging arrows again.

Good to see Jess. Morris created a fine recurve for the time.

Jess, if you made the limbs I’m sure it’s a shooter. Can’t wait for my buddy to call me Christmas day. His wife is very excited. You made another beautiful bow.

Gator, no I just built the limbs, it isn't my bow. It belongs to a man in Montana, it orginally belonged to his father. Unfortunately one of the limbs had delaminated, it was his dream to get his dads bow back shooting again. Glad I was able to help.

Jess was it difficult to do?

Gator, not particularly you just need the correct drill jig.

Hi Jess I have a couple of Rocky Mountain Recurves that I am looking to obtain some lower poundage limbs for. If you could send me your email address or phone number I would like to discuss the possibility of getting a couple sets of limbs built. My email address is [email protected]. Thanks Berle

You can contact Jess at Sierra Blanco bows. I've got a 52 pounder from Jess and after shooting it the other day, put my ilf bows and my Rampart away. It's not the fastest bow I own, but it's super smooth and just feels good shooting it.
