Ok here are my results so far. I Started on December 2nd. First two days went well . I had a hard time on day three as I wanted to shoot a arrow so bad. (In my mind). After day three it got more comfortable just going thru the plan. Today was day fourteen , I started the program with a 35lb bow at my draw length. So today I added a 47lb bow for the first half of the reps.I also at the start of this test changed my shooting style a little. I feel like I am useing my back muscles more. ( in all the years of shooting wheels and traditional I never know what back tension was) ( also I haven’t shot wheels in seven years) I feel like I am in control of my form. I also play a little game with the exercise to make it like it’s a real shot. Not just going thru the motions. I’m glad I started out with a lighter bow to build control of my form. Now adding a heavier bow to the exercise to see how it goes. Next Sunday I get to shoot some arrows. So far so good. Hope this helps those watching this test. I will up date every two weeks. Don

It is good to hear you are progressing. And I look forward to your follow ups to see how it is working out for you. I plan to start that program as soon as hunting season is over. I plan to start with a bow 30/35 pounds. I have been shooting with a clicker on my bow for years. Would like to change that in the near future. Thanks for the update keep up the good work!

Day 28 here and going great. I'm at the point of shooting up to 15 yards with total control. Haven't had that in a long time. I am staying lighter weight on the bow--35# at my draw. I wouldn't move up too soon. Big D, I'm concerned that you may be upping poundage too much and too soon, but I guess you'll know soon enough. Just be careful you don't set yourself back.

Don,

I would highly suggest you stay with the light limbs and continue to work on your shot sequence (FORM). There's a point in the drills that I mention the possibility of moving up in weight but then, only three to five pounds at a time. You haven't arrived at that place--yet.

Thanks for the update and good luck to you.
