Does anyone have one of these? I am wondering if the bill can really be flipped up and stay in place? Anyone have a solid color one in gray or green?

Kevin, I don't have the radar cap but I wear their wool boonie and love it.

I have one, the bill can’t be flipped up on mine.

Is the bill short enough to not interfere with the bowstring? *That* to me is more important! The hat in the picture looks like a winner.

I hate brimless hats, but many hat brims are too long for this archer. I like 'bucket' hats but try to find a warm one in camo or hunting plaid.

I probably own 20 hats and have reasons to dislike them all. The Grey Wolf might be #21 ;-)

You need a short brim, so animals can't see you blink.

I have a Jones style Grey Wolf that I like as well as a Hidden Wolf Bomber. Both work well for me.

I'm not familiar with those, but I used a Two Tracks wool Cous Cap all season in temps ranging from single digits up to 50 and it worked great. It has a short bill that is soft enough that it doesn't interfere with the bow string if it does make contact.

Looks like a good hat but who pays 17 bucks to ship a hat for cripes sake.

Aaron, that looks like another good one.

Just turn the bill to the side! :)

SB, the problem is, the side I turn it to shoot isn't where the sun is blinding me from ;-)

I notice that Grey Wolf also makes bucket hats. Definitely on my wish list.

I have a radar grey wolf hat, the brim was short and soft enough it wouldn't bother anything. In the end mine is in a bin somewhere as I prefer brimless stocking hats. If I can find it perhaps we could make a swap.

Us guys who shoot those awful short bows don't have much trouble with cap bills. That said, a short bill will help with must about any length bow, or a bill that will easily give to the bow string...like my wool Box Call hats. I really can't go with out some eye shading when in the woods to help with contrast.

I am getting a Carhartt stocking cap with a short bill for Christmas. I haven’t got it yet, but I picked it out and I think it will work good for shooting. I think they are around $15.

Found it. Never wore it outside the house as Jones styled hats aren't my bag baby.

Me too Matt, I'm Mr. Fashion when it comes to my woods attire. ;) Not!
