So what do your hunting arrows weigh in grams.

From: goldentrout_one
Date: 14-Dec-18

About 40 grams for this year's hunt....

From: George D. Stout Compton's Traditional Bowhunters
Date: 14-Dec-18

They vary, depending on which ones I'm using...wood, fiberglass or aluminum.

From: George D. Stout Compton's Traditional Bowhunters

Most weigh in grains, so you divide by 15.43 to get grams.

From: soap creek
Date: 14-Dec-18

Most of what I hunt with are between 500 to 600 grains total weight broadheads included. That's no matter the arrow material.

From: kstout
Date: 14-Dec-18

Using the formula posed by George Stout, mine weigh 36.29 grams.

From: Therifleman
Date: 14-Dec-18

I've gone as light as 25.66 for deer on up to 32.

From: Pdiddly
Date: 14-Dec-18

8-10 grains per pound.

I shoot recurves from 45-65 pounds when hunting so arrow weight increases with poundage.

From: Burly
Date: 14-Dec-18

Around 640 gr. With broadheads.

From: osage
Date: 14-Dec-18

660 grains as I mostly hunt elk.

From: Tracker7
Date: 14-Dec-18

430 grains for 43 lb bow , 530 for 50 lb bow.

From: Pa Steve
Date: 14-Dec-18

540-690 grains depending on the bow I'm shooting & the game I'm after.

From: Tundra
Date: 14-Dec-18

I'm hunting with 550 - 610 grains

This past season I hunted with 586 grains. I have gone as high as 675.

From: Texomahunter
Date: 14-Dec-18

From: Andy Man

I'm hunting 60# bows right now, my arrows are all about 640 grains.

I am thinking about dropping down in weight, I will probably go to 55#'s next year.It is possible with some minor tweaking i will be shooting the same arrows.

I shoot mostly hardwood shafts. To be honest I don't really care what they weight, as long as they are consistent within a set. Kind of like Andy.

Folks worry way too musch about arrow weight in my mind.

From: silverarrowhead
Date: 15-Dec-18

36.3 grams. Most of my bows range 53# to 57#.

From: David McLendon
Date: 15-Dec-18

624 grains, 40.44 grams, 9.31 grains per pound. That's for one bow, don't know the other but my GPP is pretty consistent regardless of draw weight. Do I win a prize? ;)
