Just wondering if anyone has one of the Black Ridge Bows? They are making a one piece recurve, a hybrid and a longbow all of which look pretty nice. I watched a video that Lancaster has about them but just wondering if anyone has one and their impression on the bow. Thanks

Call one of the guys at Lancaster. John Wert will have good information and won't BS you about the bow. They will even check them over for you before sending them out if you ask.

Thanks for the advice, I have searched on here and the only Galaxy bow I have found is the take down, I haven't seen anything on these.

I had the Galaxy 70" Black Ridge. Good, solid bow and a very nice grip, just like the Black Hunter has a nice grip. The Black Ridge was 45@28 and shot nicely, no hand shock was ever noticed. I recently traded to another waller. If you're looking for an inexpensive, 70", solid and attractive longbow, then this one should be considered.

Galaxy Ember. First shots I took with it. Great bow. They go by a lot of names.

I have the Galaxy Ember TD longbow and love the bow. The weight is exactly as marked, and 3 inches beyond the 28" marked weight it only picks up an additional 5 pounds. The most comfortable grip I ever had on a bow. I have been a buyer of pretty customs for years and have several on the rack at the present time but the Ember seems to be becoming a favorite.

Guys---the Black Ridge is a totally different bow than the Black Hunter/Ember.....it is 70" long, not 60" long.

Well, I will say there appears to be three made by Galaxy, so I stand corrected on that front.....I thought OP was referring to the 70" longbow specifically.

Yes, I know that, but my point was that those Galaxy bows are fine bows.

David--I totally agree with you....
