When I did a search it looked legit, however, if you look close the Handle in the add is slightly different then the one that pops up in the post. Be very careful!!!

C.K is a different person than me. I'm guessing you are referring to my classified post for the PLII, if so you are mistaking because I'm no scammer...anyone have a Widow PSA hit me up!!!! Motivated buyer and seller here!

Gonna say it again guys. You cannot get beat if you use pay pal merchandise. Friends and family leaves you not protected. Now someones idea of having them take a pic w today’s paper, a half full glass of water, etc for instance next to merchandise shows they have it in possession. It shouldn’t take 6 hours either in my opinion. Id ask if they’re w merchandise now than ask for pics after they say yes. If not ask for extra photos, once they send they would apparently be with it. Than ask for particular pic. A phone call can weed people out also. The sky is not falling. Protect yourself. Make sure you have a check even if certified checked and cleared before sending merchandise. Apparently a common trick is sending too much and just asking for you to cash it and send back extra w merchandise. If you don’t wait/check you’ll be sending money w item as well.

One thing to keep in mind is that if said user has never posted here when you search their handle you saw on the classifieds it will just show you posts from the next closest handle. Just cause someone has never posted does not mean they are a scammer. Communication via phone/text is always a good backup I use.

I've been coming to the leatherwall for many years under a couple different handles for information and buying and selling bows. I just don't post often.

I know where a B/W takedown PMA X 50lbs for under $700 is...

Ask them for a photo of them drawing the bow.

From: Babysaph

Make him send the bow first then send him the payment.,

I won’t be sending my bow to anyone without payment. However I will send a pic of myself drawing the bow in my underwear. Seriously though it’s not that hard to figure out if someone is up to no good. Besides you are protected by PayPal.

Agreed with CK, you are protected by PayPal - HOWEVER, if you use "Friends and Families" you are NOT protected. If an unknown seller wants you to use "Friends and Families" to avoid paying PayPal fees, be extra-cautious, as that is the same as sending cash, no protection. Not to mention, it is fraudulent and dishonest...

Thanks for the tip regarding "friends and families" I didn't know that.
